KOMU-TV, the NBC affiliate in Columbia, Mo., has found its Facebook page to be a valuable resource in covering the tornado that hit Joplin, Mo.
In addition to posting news updates, the page has become a hub for viewers to post photos, share information and offer well-wishes to the Joplin community.
