Charlotte station uses Twitter to cover election

Raleigh’s Belo-owned WCNC-TV set up reports with Twitter accounts and then feed all that data into one interface on its Web site, which allowed viewers to read a behind-the-scenes look at covering an election in an uncensored forum. Station execs say the trial run of the was successful.
