WESH-TV, the Orlando, Fla., NBC affiliate owned by Hearst-Argyle, has introduced a new interactive radar feature on its Web site.
The new section allows users to pan and zoom around the various radar maps offered and offers flyout information boxes for specific weather events. In addition, the radar, storm cells and cloud cover can be toggled on and off.
One particularly nice feature is the ability to control the transparency of the radar overlay, something viewers should appreciate.
