KSHB-TV debuts HD news with new FX set

KSHB-TV, the Scripps-owned NBC affiliate in Kansas City, Mo., has debuted high definition newscast with a new set from FX Group, making it the second station in the market to have a set from FX.

KSHB-TV’s new set shares elements from the recently-installed sets at KTRK-TV in Houston and KNBC-TV in Los Angeles. The sprawling new set includes an anchor desk, weather center, standup area and spiral staircase.
