Jack Morton/PDG creates studio for CTV Olympics coverage

CTV debuted its 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics coverage from a studio designed by Jack Morton/PDG.

The studio features three sets with large glass windows overlooking Vancouver for a striking background. An interview set is also part of the studio complete with a TV-powered fireplace. Also of note is the 3D Olympic rings fixture over the anchor desk and collage to the right. The studio was fabricated by Blackwalnut and lighting design was completed by TAD Lighting.

NBC, by comparison, uses a similar studio to its previous Olympic coverage.
