WGXA-TV, the Fox affiliate serving Macon, Ga., added ABC programming to its digital subchannel and launched newscasts with shared facilities and talent under the “NewsCentral” banner. Along with this, a new set and graphics debuted.
Another photo and commentary after the jump.
The new set features a mix of warm woods and a blurred control room duratran background along with a vertical flat screen camera center between the two anchors and additional flat screens CL and CR.
The graphics package features similar tones of reds and blues as well as sharp lens flares as well as some gold hues mixed in.
Overall the look is simple and effective.
Update: NewscastStudio has confirmed FX Group designed the set.
