Baltimore station typo results in unfortunate labeling

WBAL-TV, the Hearst-owned NBC affiliate in Baltimore, aired an unfortunate lower third during its Black Friday shopping coverage.

The graphic was most likely meant to read “Black Friday Holiday Shoppers” but the omission of the word “Friday” made the situation even more awkward since most of the people shown in the video appear to be African American.
