Our 2011 “Set Madness” competition has proven to be quite a hit and it’s almost time to name a winner.

Round three attracted over 1,200 votes.

Here are the results:

  • In the Network Division v. DMAs 1-25 competition, NTV easily beat WCBS-TV by collecting over 92 percent of the vote.
  • In the DMAs 25+ v. Cable vote, MSNBC’s Studio 3K won by just seven percentage points over WSYR-TV.

We’re now at the final voting stage, which will place NTV up against MSNBC Studio 3K.

Also, since no affiliate sets made it the final round of voting, we’ll be naming a 2011 Local Station Set of the Year as well.

As a special bonus to our newsletter subscribers, we’ll be announcing the 2011 Set of the Year a day early: Sunday, Jan. 29 at 5 p.m. ET. The winner will be announced to the general public on this blog Monday, Jan. 30. Click here to sign up for our newsletter to be one of the first to know the winner!
