Univision New York debuted a new HD set Monday from Sabca Productions.

The set uses a mix of modern and traditional elements to create a great look for the premiere Univision station. Backlit color-changing strips are seen through out, mixing with wood elements and lots of technology.

One interesting application is the use of the Univision icon on the backlit elements as a solid color element.

The set features depth in shots and feels sleek on air, unlike the stations previous set. Included are a sit down interview area, weather center, utility area and sports area.

Overall, the set is a vast improvement from the previous set, featuring more positions, more options and more technology.
