Must be the fog, but KOMU-TV, the NBC affiliate in Columbia/Jefferson City, Mo., seems to have lost track of the fact that 46 degrees is actually higher than 45 degrees.

In this fullscreen graphic that aired recently, the station shows temperature trends for the day, but places the early morning temperature of 46 degrees significantly lower on the vertical axis than the noontime temp of 45 degrees.

It’s also worth noting that the vertical space between 45 and 51 degrees (a difference of 6 degrees) seems to be less than the vertical height between 40 and 45 degrees (a difference of 5 degrees).
