WTAJ-TV is preparing to launch in HD with a new set.
“We are re-doing the entire set. The newscasts will be in HD. The clarity will be much better. Everything is getting upgraded from the studio cameras, set, graphics and logo,” said Vice President and General Manager Phil Dubrow to the Altoona Mirror. “We are adding a new weather lab and adding weather cameras around the viewing area.”
The station has been posting small previews, like the one above.
The set is expected to debut for Feb. sweeps and has an expanded footprint of 40 to 50 percent.
