NBCNews.com has begun teasing its “new, faster” homepage design to users.

The site is running a banner across the bottom of the homepage that links users to a “preview” of the new homepage, which was released in June after the site’s February redesign drew heavy criticism from users.

According to the banner, the new homepage is “coming soon” and is touted as having “more stories” and being “easier to scan.”

The latest preview version is, by and large, very similar to the version launched in June, with some subtle changes to the color of the horizontal rules and typography.
