The BPswitch family of integrated video production switchers, first launched at NAB, bring live production to the browser, with complete access and control through a simple online interface available by tablet, phones or computer.

From Broadcast Pix, showcasing the technology at IBC stand 7.A15, the switcher starts at $10,995 and is available for shipping later this month.

“We are excited to bring BPswitch to IBC, because it truly lets you take control anywhere, whether you’re across town or across the country. You get complete access to your switcher and all your cameras, clips, graphics, and workflow tools right from your tablet,” said Steve Ellis, COO. “We’ve already received a lot of positive feedback about the NewBlueNTX 3D CG, and a lot of interest from broadcasters who want an affordable way to operate remote unmanned studios.”

The company’s BPNet IP ecosystem, powered through the ioGates, delivers BPswitch’s control-over-IP capabilities with low latency, as well as extended encryption and two-factor authentication for secure performance.

The 4K upgradeable BPswitch FX, MX, and GX models provide up to 22 SDI inputs and 12 outputs, eight channels for clips and graphics, and four customizable BPview multi-view outputs.

Included with every BPswitch is the NewBlueNTX high-end CG, which produces multi-layer 3D motion graphics. It includes hundreds of title styles and templates.
