Arti, a newcomer to the world of augmented reality graphics for broadcast, has secured a $4 million seed investment led by Axon VEntures.
“We are excited to have achieved this significant milestone in the company’s development, which will let us reach more video creators and drive our future growth,” said Yaron Zakai-Or, Arti Co-founder & CEO. “With the support of our investors, we can continue to develop new innovations for the Arti ‘AR studio in your pocket’ platform, which will help more broadcasters and content developers deliver engaging AR videos outside a traditional studio environment.”
Arti’s AR solution runs completely in the cloud and requires no on-premise hardware to operate.
“The Arti team understands storytelling and the power of combining AR into video,” said Arik Czerniak, General Partner at Axon Ventures. “They see how the traditional in-studio approach to AR constrains content developers, slows them down, and costs them money. The vision for the Arti platform is to become the standard AR for video—a hardware-free, cloud-based approach that’s flexible and easy-to-use, so broadcasters and other video content providers can deliver the magic of AR storytelling from anywhere. We’re excited to support the Arti team as they bring their democratized AR to a wider market.”
