“Washington Week” has changed its title slightly after hiring a new moderator.
On Aug. 2, 2024, the broadcast announced Jeffrey Goldberg, editor-in-chief of The Atlantic magazine since 2016, would step in as the show’s tenth moderator.
As such, the show is rebranding as “Washington Week with The Atlantic.”
He replaces Yamiche Alcindor, who helmed the show since 2021 after Robert Costa, who had been host since 2017, left to work on a book project before eventually landing at CBS News.
“Week” is produced at the production facility of WETA in Arlington, Virginia.
The first show under the new title aired Aug. 11, 2023. The show airs Fridays in most markets.
