RTDNA begins announcing regional Murrow award winners

The Radio Television Digital News Association is in the process of announcing the regional winners of its Edward R. Murrow Awards.

The announcements began May 13, 2024, and continue with a new region each weekday until May 31, 2024.

Regional winners will advance to the next round of competition with national winners being announced in August 2024. 

A gala honoring the winners is planned for Oct. 14, 2024. 

  • Region 1 (Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington)
  • Region 2 (California, Hawaii, Nevada and Guam)
  • Region 3 (Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming)
  • Region 4 (Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin)
  • Region 5 (Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska)
  • Region 6 (Oklahoma and Texas)
  • Region 7 (Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio)
  • Region 8 (Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and West Virginia)
  • Region 9 (Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi)
  • Region 10 (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont)
  • Region 11 (New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania)
  • Region 12 (Delaware, Maryland and Washington, D.C.)
  • Region 13 (Florida, Georgia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands)
  • Region 14 (International)
