Galsngear programming at NAB Show focuses on AI and evolving production workflows

Contributed Content / Press Release March 31, 2026

#GALSNGEAR will hold a series of meetups, panel discussions, and networking events during the 2026 NAB Show, scheduled for April 18–22 in Las Vegas.

The organization’s programming aims to provide women and allies in media, entertainment, and technology with opportunities to connect with peers, engage with industry leaders, and navigate the conference sessions and exhibit floor. Sessions will cover topics such as artificial intelligence, evolving production workflows, and the convergence of media and technology.

Amy DeLouise, founder of #GALSNGEAR, said access remains a significant barrier in media and entertainment, not only to opportunity but also to people, insight, and real-time industry conversations. She added that the organization is creating structured opportunities for women to engage directly with technologies, workflows, and leaders shaping the industry’s future.

Key events include live podcast recordings and daily meetups from April 19 to 21 at the B&H booth in Central Hall (C8516). These sessions will feature interviews for the Tequity Talk podcast with industry experts, followed by informal networking and a guided look at tools and gear.

On April 20 at 5:15 p.m. PDT, a Birds of a Feather meetup will take place at Post|Production World, offering women and allies a chance to connect and share insights on working in post-production.

On April 21, a Tech Talk and Happy Hour event will be held at the VideoNext Theater, West Hall (W2457). The panel discussion, titled “Future Frames: Where Audience, Agility, Artistry & AI Converge,” will run from 4:30 to 5 p.m. PDT. It will explore how audience expectations, production agility, creative workflows, and artificial intelligence influence content creation and delivery. Amanda Cupido, executive podcast advisor at The Walrus, will moderate the panel featuring Laura Coover of Orbital Studios, Nicki Sun of The Nicki Sun Show, and Jennifer Hyder-Michaels of PSSI Global Services. A networking reception sponsored by Dell, NVIDIA, and PSSI Global Services will follow from 5 to 6 p.m. PDT.

Throughout the show, #GALSNGEAR ambassadors will assist attendees in navigating the show floor and identifying relevant sessions, especially for first-time participants.
