Former Miami mayor Francis Suarez joins Fox News

Fox News Media has signed lawyer and former Miami Mayor Francis X. Suarez as a contributor, where he will provide legal and political analysis across its platforms.

Suarez is scheduled to make his debut on “Special Report” at 6 p.m. ET on Fox News alongside chief political anchor and executive editor Bret Baier, the company said.

Suarez served two terms as mayor of Miami from 2017 to 2025. During his tenure, the city recorded economic growth, including declines in unemployment, homicide rates and homelessness.

From 2022 to 2023, he served as president of the U.S. Conference of Mayors.

Suarez is president of Alpha Wave Global, an investment firm with nearly $30 billion in assets under management, and serves as of counsel at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan. He earned a law degree from the University of Florida and graduated from Florida International University.
