Women in Technology Awards to honor 2026 recipients at NAB Show

The 15th annual Women in Technology Awards will take place on April 21 at the NAB Show in Las Vegas. The event, presented by TVNewsCheck, will recognize women contributing to media and entertainment technology.

The ceremony will begin at 5 p.m. Pacific in the Las Vegas Convention Center’s West Hall at the Media and Entertainment Theater (W1467).

Ana Eliza Faria e Silva, senior executive for broadcast standards, regulatory strategy and digital television innovation at Globo, will receive the Women in Technology Leadership Award. Faria e Silva has more than 20 years of experience in digital broadcasting and international standards development. She has held senior roles at Globo, SBTVD, and ABNT, and contributed to ITU, CITEL, and the ISDB-T International Forum.

Madeleine Noland, president of the Advanced Television Systems Committee and a 2019 Women in Technology Futurist Award recipient, will introduce Faria e Silva during the ceremony.

The Women in Technology Futurist Award will be presented to Terri Davies, president of the Trusted Partner Network, and Lindsay Stewart, co-founder and CEO of Stringr. Davies has led changes in global media supply chains and secured production workflows for content providers. Stewart developed a video marketplace connecting networks with videographers and recently launched Genna, an AI-enhanced video automation company.

Gabby Redfern, group director of content services at Sky and 2025 Women in Technology Leadership Award recipient, will present Davies’ award. Stewart will receive her award from Glodina Connan-Lostanlen, chief revenue officer at Imagine Communications and a 2017 Women in Technology Leadership Award recipient.

The Technology Women to Watch Award will honor Devanshi Kotak, senior product manager at Cisco; Mersedeh Najishabahang, PhD, electrical engineer at Dielectric; and Valeria Sosa, live broadcast engineer at Netflix. Kotak has led development of IP broadcast infrastructures for large live events. Najishabahang holds a patent-pending innovation in RF engineering. Sosa has contributed to broadcast engineering for record-breaking live events and IP infrastructure at Netflix.

Marcy Lefkovitz, SVP product innovation at Dalet; Catherine Koutsaris, product marketing manager at Matrox; and Kylee Peña, principal product marketing manager at Adobe, will present the Technology Women to Watch awards. Hannah Barnhardt, co-founder and COO of TMT Insights, will emcee the ceremony.

The Women in Technology Awards were established in 2009 to recognize women’s contributions to media and entertainment technology. The program presents awards in three categories: Leadership, Futurist, and Technology Women to Watch.
