Contributed Content / Press Release April 13, 2026

AJA Video Systems announced several new products and updates aimed at simplifying SMPTE ST 2110 adoption and improving signal flow across broadcast, production, post, and proAV environments. The company plans to demonstrate these solutions during NAB Show 2026 at the Las Vegas Convention Center from April 19-22, at booth N1927.

The new BRIDGE LIVE IP ST 2110 gateway device supports bi-directional conversion between SMPTE ST 2110 and popular streaming IP video and audio codecs. The 1RU device can transmit and receive up to four channels of UltraHDp60 or eight channels of 1080p60 HD. It is designed to facilitate movement of IP media types into and out of 10/25GigE ST 2110 infrastructures. The gateway is available now through AJA’s reseller network with a suggested retail price of $17,999.

AJA also released version 2.0 firmware for its IP25-R Mini-Converter. The update adds a transmit mode that converts 12G-SDI to ST 2110 or HDMI and increases receive mode capacity from four to six streams. The firmware includes an integrated test signal generator to assist with ST 2110 network setup and troubleshooting. The update will be available soon as a free download from AJA Support.

The company introduced the OG-GEN10 openGear HD/SD/AES-11 sync generator. The device offers nine HD/SD reference outputs and one AES-11 output, supporting simultaneous HD tri-level and SD sync output. It features redundant power options through the openGear chassis and remote control via Ross DashBoard software. The OG-GEN10 is available now for $795 through AJA’s reseller network.

Additionally, AJA will release Desktop Software v18 as a free download for Mac, Windows, and Linux.

The update adds 10-bit RGBA support for Corvid 44 and Corvid 88, and simultaneous capture and playout of two video channels up to 1080p60 for KONA X and KONA XM I/O cards. Mac users can integrate with the Avid OpenIO SDK and use the macOS Driver Extension for Apple silicon systems.
