Telestream cloud services optimized for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

Contributed Content / Press Release April 16, 2026

Telestream announced expanded support for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), enabling media organizations to run Telestream Cloud Services, including Vantage Cloud and the recently announced UP, on Oracle’s enterprise cloud platform. The integration allows scalable, cloud-native media processing, automated workflows, and end-to-end media supply chain operations within OCI.

Telestream also enabled its SENTRY monitoring solutions to operate within OCI environments, providing real-time visibility and observability across cloud-based media operations.

Charlie Dunn, vice president of product at Telestream, said media companies are reconsidering how they deploy and scale media supply chains in the cloud. He noted that supporting OCI offers customers flexibility to run media processing workflows with operational and economic benefits. Dunn also highlighted OCI’s lower egress costs as a factor enabling a wider range of workflows across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid deployments.

Kip Schauer, senior product manager of media partnerships at Oracle, said Oracle delivers the performance and scale required for demanding enterprise media workloads. He added that Telestream’s support for OCI helps media organizations deploy scalable, high-performance media processing workflows on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

The integration supports key media supply chain functions within OCI environments, including media ingest and content preparation, automated transcoding and processing, metadata extraction and enrichment, workflow orchestration and automation, scalable compute and storage, and real-time visibility across cloud-based media operations.

OCI’s cloud architecture offers cost and performance advantages for media workloads, including optimized data transfer models that support distributed workflows across production teams, partners, and distribution platforms.

Telestream extended its SENTRY monitoring technology to OCI, enabling real-time visibility for video and audio quality assurance, captioning compliance, and ad marker validation across cloud-based media pipelines.

The OCI integration follows the launch of Telestream UP, the company’s unified cloud services platform. Early proof-of-concept work validated UP services with Oracle Cloud Storage, demonstrating how media organizations can leverage OCI infrastructure in next-generation cloud media pipelines.

Telestream’s support for OCI aligns with a multi-cloud strategy that enables media companies to avoid dependence on a single provider. The company supports multiple cloud platforms, allowing customers to choose infrastructure based on performance, cost, regional availability, and IT requirements.

OCI offers predictable pricing and reduced data egress costs, which can enable distributed production and media processing workflows that might be cost-prohibitive in other cloud environments.

Telestream will showcase its media workflow and quality monitoring tools at NAB 2026 in booth W1503.
