Imagine Communications announced the appointment of Greg Garmon as senior vice president, Americas video sales.
In this role, Garmon will oversee account growth and profitability through business development initiatives and a go-to-market strategy for the company’s playout and infrastructure solutions across the Americas region.
Garmon has more than 20 years of experience leading organizations in the media and entertainment and technology sectors. His background includes sales leadership, enterprise operations, profit and loss management, and investor relations for various companies, including regional IT consulting firms and private equity-backed global businesses.
Glodina Lostanlen, chief revenue officer at Imagine Communications, said the company expects Garmon to have an immediate impact. Lostanlen noted Garmon’s combination of channel and systems integration experience and leadership in operational and commercial performance.
Before joining Imagine Communications, Garmon was president of media and entertainment at Conference Technologies (CTI). He also held executive roles at Diversified, including chief operating officer and president of media and entertainment, where he focused on growth and organizational scaling. Earlier in his career, Garmon founded Alltek Holdings, an IT consulting and managed services firm with on-premises and cloud offerings.
Garmon said he was drawn to Imagine Communications because of its strategic direction and alignment with the markets he has served.
