ABC News Live adds additional original programming

ABC News Live is expanding its programming slate with three new shows designed around topics and questions drawing attention from streaming and digital audiences.

The new programs — “All Access with Linsey Davis,” “Burden of Proof” and “Doctor’s Note” — will be available across ABC News Live, Disney+, Hulu and ABC News digital platforms. The shows will also be distributed through the ABC News Podcast Network.

ABC’s announcement also included of new shows also included “Searched,” which debuted in April 2026.

ABC News said the programming will incorporate audience interests and real-time data, with shows focused on interviews, trending searches, high-profile court cases and health topics.

“Streaming gives us the ability to respond to our audience in real time,” Seni Tienabeso, vice president of ABC News Live and specialized units, said in a statement. “This new programming is built around the people, stories and topics viewers are actively searching for, pairing timely reporting with trusted experts and meaningful context on what’s driving today’s headlines.”

“Burden of Proof” launches Aug. 17, 2026, and will examine prominent trials and other legal proceedings. ABC News correspondent Ike Ejiochi and Perry Russom, a correspondent and weekend morning co-anchor at WABC in New York City, will host the daily program alongside ABC News legal analysts and experts.

The show will begin with coverage of the murder trial of Duane “Keffe D” Davis, who is accused in the killing of rapper Tupac Shakur. ABC News released a preview Aug. 14, 2026, ocusing on jury selection and the background of the case.

“Searched” uses data from search engines and social media platforms to identify and explain topics attracting significant public interest each day.

The program ie hosted by “Good Morning America” weekend co-anchor and transportation correspondent Gio Benitez and ABC News correspondent Ashan Singh.

Linsey Davis will host “All Access with Linsey Davis,” a weekly 30-minute interview program scheduled to premiere in September 2026. Davis, who anchors the Sunday edition of “World News Tonight” and “ABC News Live Prime,” will interview politicians, celebrities, athletes and other prominent figures.

ABC News will also launch “Doctor’s Note” this fall. The weekly health program, hosted by chief medical correspondent Dr. Tara Narula and medical correspondent Dr. Darien Sutton, will examine medical questions, health trends and popular claims while providing context and guidance from medical experts.

The additions come as ABC News continues to expand its streaming operation beyond traditional breaking-news coverage. The network said ABC News Live recorded its highest number of hours streamed during fiscal 2025 and posted three of its most-streamed months during the first half of 2026.
