Billy Bush joins Fox as paid contributor

Billy Bush has joined FNC as a contributor.

The network announced the hiring Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026. Bush is scheduled to make his first appearance in the new role Tuesday night on “Jesse Watters Primetime,” which airs at 8 p.m. ET.

“I’m excited to join Fox … and its loyal audience to share my perspective on the people, ideas and moments shaping today’s culture … as well as the ones trying to undo it,” Bush said in a statement.

Bush currently hosts “Hot Mics with Billy Bush,” a digital program covering entertainment, sports, politics, technology and pop culture. He previously spent five seasons as host of the syndicated entertainment news program “Extra” before leaving in 2025.

His television career also includes a brief stint as a co-host of the third hour of NBC’s “Today” that was ultimately cut short thanks to the Donald Trump “Access Hollywood” tape scandal. 

Before joining the morning show, Bush was a correspondent for “Access Hollywood” and hosted the nationally syndicated radio program “The Billy Bush Show.”

Bush has also appeared as an actor and television personality in a number of film and television projects.

Bush is a member of the prominent Bush political family. His father, Jonathan Bush, was the younger brother of former President George H.W. Bush, making Billy Bush a nephew of the 41st president and a first cousin of former President George W. Bush and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.

His grandfather, Prescott Bush, represented Connecticut in the U.S. Senate from 1952 to 1963.
