Motion graphics and branding for CBS News Philadelphia, KYW, that launched on Wednesday, April 12, 2023.
The design is part of the CBS News and Stations group graphics package that began rollout in late 2022 with KPIX. The package uses the “deconstructed eye” motif that appears across CBS divisions. Notably, KYW, along with Pittsburgh’s KDKA, is using a unique color palette compared to the other CBS-owned stations.
Alongside the graphics, the station debuted new branding and an updated numeral three.
