Set design for News-Press & Gazette Company’s KTVZ, NewsChannel 21, that debuted on Monday, November 20, 2023.
The new studio marks the NBC affiliate’s first major upgrade in 15 years. The project, involving months of design, planning, and construction, has equipped the studio with the latest technology for a significant visual impact in delivering news.
Features of the new studio include a 13-foot video wall for news and scenic images and a 9-foot wall of monitors for enhanced reporter presentations.
With wood accents and an earthy color palette reflecting Central Oregon’s outdoors, the studio transformation enhances the station’s ability to deliver local news, sports, and weather.
