Posted by Michael P. Hill | 2 responses

FirstCom, one of the industry’s largest and most well-known production music companies, is looking to expand its presence in the broadcast news market.

While the company has done work for some stations, including KATU-TV in Portland, Oregon, and WFMY-TV in Greensboro, N.C., company spokesperson Todd Dunlap says his firm is looking to grow in this area.

While not going into specifics, the company hopes to expand its offerings of syndicated news music packages as well as increase its overall presence in the industry.
