NBCUniversal Local’s Telemundo Station Group has launched Noticias Telemundo Suroeste, a free ad-supported streaming television channel featuring Spanish-language local news and other programming from Telemundo-owned stations across the Southwest.

The 24/7 FAST channel is available on participating stations’ digital platforms and through Amazon Fire TV Channels, with additional platforms planned. With the launch, all of Telemundo Station Group’s properties with news operations are now on a FAST platform.

Noticias Telemundo Suroeste carries content from Telemundo 39 Phoenix, Telemundo Colorado, Telemundo Utah, Telemundo Las Vegas, Telemundo 40 Tucson and Telemundo Nuevo México. Its programming includes breaking news, weather forecasts, sports coverage, investigative reporting, consumer reporting and community stories.

“We are committed to serving Spanish-speaking communities with the news and information they depend on every day across all platforms,” José Cancela, president of Telemundo Station Group, said. “The launch of our free Noticias Telemundo Suroeste streaming channel makes our valuable local content even more accessible to audiences to help them stay informed, entertained and connected 24 hours a day, seven days a week.”

The channel’s regional lineup includes live and encore presentations of local newscasts, weather coverage, lifestyle programming, public affairs programs, specials and live events for viewers in Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Colorado.

Programming includes a live weekday regional morning newscast, daily live local newscasts from Telemundo-owned stations in Arizona, Las Vegas and Denver, the weekly public affairs program “Noticias Telemundo Nuevo México — Enfoque,” the lifestyle and entertainment program “Acceso Total” and the weekly recap program “Telemundo Las Vegas — Tu Semana en 30 Minutos.”

Viewers can access Noticias Telemundo Suroeste through the “Noticias 24/7” tab on participating stations’ websites and mobile apps.

Telemundo Station Group also operates regional streaming news channels serving California, Florida, the Northeast and Texas, as well as Telemundo Puerto Rico.
