Graphics go simple, elegant for inauguration

Many cable and broadcast networks have gone with a simple, elegant look for graphics during the inauguration coverage. NBC News, shown above, is using a subtle blended look now that does a great job of not cluttering the screen too much. It also appears that MSNBC has dropped the ticker.

CBS, shown above and courtesy of TVNewser, also has a simple white and red look that utilizes an elegant serif font.

Fox broadcast network (not Fox News Channel) has a very  understated look, especially for Fox. On the cable side, however, the graphics remain pretty much the same as they always are. Image courtesy of TVNewser.

Finally, ABC News, also courtesy of TVNewser, has a fairly simple look as well.
