Fwix offers realtime local news wire

Another local news media venture launched this week. Called Fwix, the site bills itself as a “local newswire.”

The site aggregates content from local news sites and blogs in 80 cities across the country and offers it in a single, easy-to-read rundown. Articles are appended with a toolbar that lets users quickly browse and comment on stories.
