Megatrax has added a new library to its collection of production music offerings.
Sound Adventures, from producers Timo Spekkens and Thomas Zbornik, features The Vienna Boys Choir and The Vienna Symphonic.
“Thomas and I wrote two of the Impact Trailer series for the Megatrax catalog (MX204 Impact Trailers 3, MX164 Impact Trailers 2). When we decided to start our own publishing company, it was a natural move to ‘keep it in the family,’” said Timo Spekkens. “After cooperating (with Megatrax) for so many years a foundation of trust has grown.”
The Sound Adventures catalog will initially offer five volumes organized into three unique concepts: Movie Matrix – theme related composition groups, Underscore Tools – intros, outros, transitions and versions, and user-friendly Trailer Tools.
“Each cue is written with its own unique emotional contour, yet all having some related elements either in melody, harmony, or rhythm. When edited, the music will sound as if custom scored for this particular project,” noted Spekkens.
Megatrax will be officially unveiling the catalog at the National Association of Broadcasters show in April with an in-booth event on Monday, April 16 (Booth # SL7912).
