CNN has announced the nominees for its second annual iReport awards.
The 36 nominees, which can be viewed here, are broken down into six categories. CNN has assembled a team of seven judges, who range from CNN reporters Nic Robertson and Brooke Baldwin to staffers from Facebook, Vimeo and Storify, to select a winner in each of the categories.
In addition, Web visitors can cast one vote per day until June 11 for a special “Community Choice” award. CNN has also selected “iReport Spirit Honorees,” which honor members of the iReport community who go above and beyond to make iReport strong.
CNN has also added a weekend-long event at its Atlanta headquarters that will give select iReport members a chance to take classes, network and join in in-depth discussions, culminating in the awards ceremony.
