Nexstar opening HD hub in Memphis

Nexstar Broadcasting plans to open a state of the art HD production facility in Memphis June 1 to support three of its stations in the area.
The facility will serve as a production hub and digital operations center for Memphis ABC affilate WPTY-TV, the Memphis CW station WLMT-TV and Jackson, Tenn.’s Fox station, WJKT-TV.
Though details are still to come, reports TVNewsCheck, the facility will include an HD news studio, upgraded weather center and an updated master control center.
