Dallas map glitch predicts electoral votes, not fronts

WFAA-TV forecaster Pete Delkus found a different kind of map behind him during Monday’s newscast.

Instead of red high fronts and blue low fronts, Delkus found himself in front of red states and blue states — a 2012 electoral vote map.

The error was apparently the result of a new weather map system the station recently installed.
