Apparently there’s no weather in NYC today

As we mentioned in our original writeup of the program, CNN’s “New Day” program has a rather annoying pale yellow weather bar above the network’s standard ticker, which was brought back in February (and then tweaked the next day) after the network had been using a the “flipper” for some time.

This morning we happened to notice the weather bar was helpfully informing viewers it was currently “-°” in New York City, the home base of the program, and that, apparently, residents of the city could expect the same for the rest of the day.
