Earlier this year, Vizrt debuted a new virtual technology dubbed “Virtual Presenter.”
The sports gimmick, currently in use on Canal + in Spain, allows a sports anchor to appear virtually on the playing field to break down the action.
TVNewsCheck reports no US network currently utilizes the technology, but it is likely only a matter of time.
It’s an interesting enhancement, but the presenter appears as a small little blip on the screen. Maybe nothing can beat telestrating?
