The station, which was the market’s first, is leaving downtown for the headquarters KABB-TV, the city’s Fox affiliate, on the northwest side of the city. That building has been recently renovated and includes a new set for WOAI-TV as well as a large, combined newsroom. CW affiliate KMYS-TV also uses the facility.

The new set, designed by Devlin Design Group, features a flexible anchor area with sleek desk and patterned backdrop. A textured wall with freestanding flat screen is on one side, while the other includes a well mounted 2×2 monitor array an a weather center. An additional interview set with sofa and standup area rounds out the studio.
