7 ways stations name their morning newscasts

“This Morning” is another popular way to brand AM newscasts. Although it’s often used by CBS stations for consistency with “CBS This Morning,” it’s also not uncommon to find it used at other affiliated stations. 

Here again, the name can take a variety of formats combined with the station’s individual branding, such as “News (Number) This Morning” or “(City Name) This Morning” or “This Morning in (City Name).”
