Australia’s Nine News Queensland is in the final stages of a set overhaul, bringing the network’s standardized look from Mark Dyson of Pitch Design and DD8 to Brisbane and the state.

The new set features a large LED screen with the latest in broadcast technology, replacing a dated look that’s seen better days.

In the first promo, glossy shots of the new set are mixed with reporters in the field, with a voiceover touting the station as “Queensland’s number one newsroom.”

The upgrade is expected to debut in the coming weeks.
