“ABC World News Tonight,” meanwhile, used its normal breaking news graphics and verbose branding during its teases along with stylized imagery from the flooding.

ABC originated its entire broadcast from Houston, with weekend anchor Tom Llamas filling in for David Muir. Llamas delivered the newscast from the middle of a flood street.

During packages, including this map showing the work being done to divert floodwaters, the broadcast included a radar loop to the left of its normal breaking news lower third insert graphics.
