BroadcastPix to showcase enhanced graphics in IP switcher at IBC 2017

During the upcoming IBC Show in Amsterdam, Broadcast Pix will demonstrate the latest updates to its family of integrated production switchers, BPswitch.

“We’ve added some exceptional new features in our BPswitch systems, but many of our customers are most excited about NewBlueNTX,” said Steve Ellis, COO. “This is a significant CG upgrade, with multi-layer 3D motion graphics that are easy to create with built-in templates. NewBlueNTX really takes our graphics capabilities to the next level and beyond.”

An intuitive user interface makes it easy to quickly create custom graphics, and NewBlueNTX includes hundreds of title styles and templates for lower-thirds, scoreboards, main titles, crawls, rolls, and bugs. Built-in motion graphic animation presets also make it easy to create and update complex effects. Plus, its multi-title management workflow allows users to automatically update elements of multiple graphics with a single change.

NewBlueNTX graphics can be selected and easily edited directly through BPswitch. File names appear on control panel PixButtons for easy identification during productions.

Graphics can be shared across live or post-production platforms through the BPNet™ cloud-based video workflow service, which is accessible directly through BPswitch. Users can also leverage existing designs with a range of supported authorized tools including Adobe After Effects and Photoshop.

NewBlueNTX also works seamlessly with the Broadcast Pix Rapid CG option, which automatically updates on-screen graphics from databases, scoreboards, social media, and RSS feeds. New Rapid CG features exclusively for BPswitch and NewBlueNTX include multi-layered playback for each channel as well as the ability to trigger multi-layered playback using Action Buttons, plus Adobe After Effects project import, multi-lingual support, and a second license for the software. The new Rapid CG software will be available in late 2017.
