Bucking the trend of icy and cool colors used prominently for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Canadian network CBC opted to use the Olympic torch and gold medals as inspiration for a graphics package that was, if not dominated by oranges and golds, at least heavily accented by it.
