‘CBS Sunday Morning’
The redo of the iconic “CBS Sunday Morning” set, also from Jack Morton Worldwide but with lighting design by Lenny Mancini, includes the use of a large cyc lit with a gradient background. The design conquers the challenge of lighting vertically mounted flat panels with frost, each of which requires additional integrated lighting to spotlight the imagery on them. The use of dimensional lettering on other set pieces with integrated lighting on the set’s low riser walls is also notable.
