Networks ‘split’ Cohen, Manafort coverage on very busy news day

The script was written in such a way, that, despite a brief overview of the Manafort case, Glor had to abruptly switch gears back to Cohen because the first package, from Weijia Jiang covered the Cohen story in about three minutes.

Paula Reid then covered Manafort from about two minutes, before White House Correspondent Major Garrett joined Reid for a mini panel discuss between them and Glor, which ran about two and a half minutes.

During its coverage, one of the studio video walls was used to outline key bullet points of the Cohen case.
