3News shifts set, graphics to red after rebranding as Virgin Media News

Virgin Media opted to keep the studio design with dramatic internally lit curves, integrated video walls and working newsroom background, though, thanks to the color changing technology technology on the set, the curved accent elements in the studio and newsroom are now red and white.

In addition, the newscasts have an updated logo featuring the Virgin Media logo with oblong “infinity” design around it. New graphics now feature blue, white and red 3D spaces with bright lights and reflective surfaces.

Other elements in the 3D space include topical imagery.

The curved elements in the graphics package also have “end caps” that serve as a base for the Virgin Media News logo and mirror the curved elements on the set.

The newscasts’ insert graphics have also been updated, though with a flatter, clean look with slightly curved corner accents.
