As a new year of golf begins, Golf Channel has rolled out revised insert graphics from Troika/Mission Group.
“Storytelling is at the heart of our live tournament coverage, and this refreshed graphics package will enhance the way viewers consume our coverage,” said Molly Solomon, executive producer, Golf Channel. “As viewing habits continue to evolve for golf fans and across the media industry, these graphics offer a cleaner, more polished viewing experience on any device.”
The new look, which bowed with the Sentry Tournament of Champions on the PGA Tour, features a clean design style that loses 3D elements in favor of a flat design style.
Golf Channel notes the new package is optimized for viewing from mobile devices, making information easy and clear to scan and digest. The design also incorporates brighter, bold colors with larger typography.
“We appreciate NBC Sports’ vision and commitment to innovation and are excited to see this package bring new energy to the tournament viewing experience,” said Gil Haslam, executive creative director of Troika/Mission Group.
