WGN is adding a daily late night sports broadcast.

GN Sports” (we’re not quite sure what happened to the “W”) will air Monday through Friday at 10:30 p.m.

Sports anchors Dan Roan and Jarrett Payton will host, with Roan continuing to appear on WGN’s newscasts.

The show launches Jan. 28, 2020 and will feature Payton reporting from the Super Bowl LIV in Miami.

Before WGN’s new parent Nexstar Media Group pulled the plug on CLTV, the pair hosted “Sports Feed” Sunday through Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. on the 24 hour regional news channel.

WGN will also continue to produce “Instant Replay” Sundays from 9:4o to 10 p.m.

WGN currently finds itself without any live sports game broadcasts for the first time in decades. It previously carried many Cubs games, but lost those rights after the team decided to launch its own network, Marquee.

It also lost Bulls, Blackhawks and White Sox games to NBC Sports Chicago.
