Retired WPXI reporter DeHaven “Dee” Thompson died May 9, 2024, at the age of 84.
Thompson worked at the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, station from 1974 to 2009, when he retired.
He started at the station as a sports reporter before transitioning to news.
Thompson is survived by two daughters and two grandchildren.
