Marshall Electronics introduces compact IP and 3G-SDI POV cameras for broadcast

Marshall Electronics has introduced two new point-of-view cameras designed for broadcast, live production and professional AV use. The CV320 Compact IP and 3G-SDI POV Camera with CS lens and the CV520 Miniature IP and 3G-SDI POV Camera with M12 lens were unveiled at NAB 2026 in Las Vegas.

Both cameras feature a 2.12-megapixel 1/2.86-inch full HD sensor and can output 1920 by 1080 pixels at 60 frames per second over 3G-SDI and IP simultaneously. This dual output capability supports integration into hybrid production workflows.

The CV320 model offers an interchangeable CS and C lens mount, allowing users to select lenses to suit different field of view and optical requirements. It has a compact design with an industrial 1/4-inch-20 mount for flexible positioning in confined or discreet locations.

The CV520 camera includes an interchangeable M12 lens mount and comes with a 4.0mm lens providing an 80-degree horizontal angle of view. It is intended for applications needing a fixed wide perspective, such as point-of-view capture, robotics, houses of worship and immersive live production.

Both cameras support streaming protocols including RTSP, RTMP and SRT with H.264 and HEVC codecs. They feature an audio input for embedding sound into the IP video output. Local control is available via an on-screen display accessed through a joystick on the breakout cable. Remote adjustments can be made using VISCA over RS485, VISCA over IP or the camera’s web interface.

Power options include the supplied 12V DC power supply or Power over Ethernet (PoE) via a single CAT cable. Firmware updates can be performed in the field.

Marshall Electronics plans to make the CV320 and CV520 cameras available in summer 2026.
