Disguise to showcase new plugins including Sony’s virtual production integration at NAB 2026

Contributed Content / Press Release April 13, 2026

Disguise will demonstrate how its software and media servers support synchronized, high-resolution content playback across broadcast, virtual production, live events, and sports venues at the 2026 NAB Show.

The company will present demos and panels at five partner booths, featuring two new integrations developed through its proprietary plugin framework: Sony’s XYN plugin for virtual production and an upcoming plugin from LTX for AI-powered generative media creation.

Sony’s XYN plugin is designed to work with Disguise’s Designer software to convert real-world spaces into 3D computer graphics, aiming to reduce the workload involved in creating LED virtual production backgrounds.

The LTX plugin enables creative teams to generate synchronized audio-visual content at native 4K resolution and 60 frames per second using LTX’s multimodal AI model, LTX-2.3. Users can create 4K LED videos from written prompts or reference images and iterate quickly to support ideation and pre-visualization.

Disguise technology will be on display at the MRMC, B&H, Planar, CarbonBlack, and MOVIN booths in Central Hall. The company also announced a new partnership with NETGEAR, which will provide verified interoperability between Disguise servers and NETGEAR AV switches. Disguise customers will have access to NETGEAR’s AV-trained network support specialists and ongoing training and certification programs.

Panel discussions featuring Disguise representatives and customers will be held at partner booths. Topics include spatial capture in virtual production, moderated by Sony, and designing entertainment venues that support both traditional broadcast and immersive fan experiences, hosted by B&H.
